I won't say I regret 2009 because I don't, you live and you learn. Though 2009 was a bit tough at times it made me realize that I shouldn't take life and the people in it for granted. Each passing year that goes by I grow from it and become more responsible for my own actions. I can say with confidence that I am more mature for my own well being. Though we all live for the future, my past came back.. not to haunt me but "to finish where we left off". I have to say I'm glad it did because I finally got my closure from it and my mind can now rest.
Someone once told, "The past is the past.. forget about it." and I think it's funny they say this because it's not true.. sure there are certain things we don't want to remember but once you've been through it, that's that. The past will always be apart of us and we take it and grow from it. Just like 2009, I'm taking what I learned with me into 2010.
We will see what 2010 has for me.. for us.. for everyone.Hoping for a better, well educated 2010,
